In this project completed for HAPPY KIDS PLAY CENTER, a Winser Technical WR-442-YD painted half-height turnstile was installed to provide safer, more organized and controlled access to the children's play area located inside a shopping mall.

When selecting an access control solution for children's entertainment areas, managing entrances and exits is only one consideration. The design and materials of the equipment should also be appropriate for younger users.

One of the key features of this project was the use of specially manufactured plexiglass turnstile arms. This configuration provides an alternative to conventional metal arms and was selected to create a solution better suited to a children's play environment while helping reduce the risk of injury during passage.

The half-height configuration creates a clearly controlled entrance point while helping preserve the open and welcoming appearance expected from an indoor children's entertainment facility.

Its painted body also allows the turnstile system to integrate more naturally into the colorful and dynamic design concept typically associated with play centers, rather than creating the appearance of conventional industrial security equipment.
