Kigali Arena WR-432 Full-Height Stadium Turnstile Access Control Project
Kigali Arena WR-432 Full-Height Stadium Turnstile Access Control Project KIGALI ARENA
In this project completed for Kigali Arena, Winser Technical WR-432 full-height turnstiles were installed to provide secure and controlled management of spectator entrances and exits. The project was completed in Rwanda in July 2019.
Stadiums and arenas experience extremely high pedestrian traffic within short periods before and after sporting events, concerts and other major events. Entrance systems therefore require strong physical access control capable of directing spectators through clearly designated passage lanes.
The WR-432 full-height turnstile was specifically designed for environments such as stadiums and large entertainment facilities where the movement of large groups needs to be strictly controlled. Its full-height construction creates a strong physical access barrier at the entrance.
The WR-432 can be installed in multiple adjacent lanes, making it suitable for high-capacity entrances where several controlled passage points are required. The system can also operate in single or bidirectional configurations and can be integrated with electronic access control equipment.
The installation at Kigali Arena created a professional pedestrian access infrastructure designed to organize spectator movement, reduce uncontrolled passage and support more structured entrance management during high-attendance events.
The project provides:
Winser Technical WR-432 full-height turnstiles
Controlled spectator entrance and exit
High physical access security at stadium entrances
Infrastructure suitable for intensive pedestrian traffic
Multi-lane installation capability
Single or bidirectional operation
Integration capability with electronic access control systems
Professional entrance solution for stadiums and arenas
Winser Technical full-height turnstile systems provide professional pedestrian access control solutions for stadiums, sports arenas, event venues and other facilities where high visitor traffic requires secure and controlled entrance management.
